When I first saw the pattern photo for Paulie, I decided I had to make one in the same colors.
Pattern: Paulie by Isabell Kraemer
Yarn: Miss Babs Northumbria Fingering BFL in Luna Granite and Squash Blossom
Needles: US 4
This was a nice knit. I like the garter stitch on the yoke, and the stripes are just enough motivatioin to knit a little bit further. I wish the collar had a little bit more to it-- it's hard to have that little fold stay in place right now. Usually it flips out flat.
Surprisingly, I had to buy buttons for this sweater. I have a lot of yellow buttons, but this yellow has more orange in it than my buttons do. I'm pretty happy with the color match of these.
It was a little warm taking photos of this sweater! I think I'll store it away until the fall.
Very cute! I've had my eye on this pattern. The collar looks good both ways, and you did get a great match on the buttons.
