What a super team you two make!

tiennie

That is a great idea! What a hubby!

Ruth

What a clever hubby!

Abigail

What an excellent idea! Any man that can solve a knitting problem should be kept:D

Meg

It's turning out beautifully, and I think that length is really flattering. I like my sweaters to hit about there. Keep on going! Can't wait to see the finished project!

stacey

sometimes, the non-knitters can see "outside the box" and are right on!!! yay hubby!!!!

Kelly

That goodness for knitters husbands!!! wooo hoo!
Its going to be great as a longer tunic type sweater, you've got a keeper there :)

heather

wow - that's a GORGEOUS sweater! and a clever fix, too. knit that man a hat. :-)

Jessica

Half butt!! Ha!!! That's totally cracking me up more than it should. Perhaps I need a weekend?! Clever fix though. And it's going to be just gorgeous!

Kim

Your husband is effing brilliant! Perhaps he was a knitter in another life?

Ariel

Awesome - I am now going to refer to that sweater length as "half butt" for the rest of my days.

whitney

What a great idea! Cheers to your clever husband! I like things that are that length, anyway...for my shape, at least, it helps emphasize that I actually do have hips, and am not just a rectangle.

nova

It looks great, and kudos for the husbandly unit for coming up with a good strategy to fend of ripping!

Anne

It looks really lovely. I like your husband's idea. Hope you love the way it fits when it's done!

David

I really like the gradual color change--that colorway works very well with the pattern. And with a half-butt, you get a few extra inches of sweatery deliciousness!

Brenda

Yay for smart husbands! I think his idea is the best plan. I really like how the colors change. Have a great weekend!

Jen

That's a brilliant idea I would have never thought of, and actually, with the boldness of the design, it'll be perfect in that style.

Paula

What a gorgeous sweater, Kristy! Your talent amazes me! And you have been knitting less than three years. You've always shown an interest in patterns and design in art. You have found ways to make art in your knitting.
