I'm not a huge football fan, but I do enjoy watching the Super Bowl every year. There's so much knitting time, with the only interruptions being nachos, beer, (vegetarian) bratwursts, and the occasional put-down-your-knitting-and-cheer very exciting play. What's not to enjoy?
Here's what I'll be working on. I only have the sleeves and neck on my tweed sweater. It's possible I'll finish it up today!
I also promised one of my bridesmaids (who lives in Boston) I'd make her a hat. I'm writing up the pattern for the hat I made recently, and I'll check it when I knit her version. I'll be using Malabrigo again, of course.
And finally, if I finish all of that and still have knitting time, there's always the Monkey Sock (with picot edges) that I started on Thursday. I love how quickly this pattern knits up, and I love how this Yarn Pirate BFL is striping!
I hope you enjoy the Super Bowl! What are you going to be knitting?

Your sweter looks so tweedy and cozy. I love it! I have my Super Bowl knitting all lined up. Finishing a mitten and just cast on for some socks. Chili on the stove... Should be a nice evening. Go Patriots!

I love superbowl knitting! I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to work on (depends how good the game is!) I have sleeves to a Thermal Sweater, a 2x2 rib scarf or a Koolhaas hat to choose from! Fun times!

Muir, muir and more Muir! I have 2 more repeats and both edges to finish and then I am done! Oh, and also work stuff, random drywall repair and painting the living room.

I was knitting with YP Booty Club Yarn too! My Icicle skein is almost turned into an Easy Flame Lace Scarf! I like your Solstice Monkeys!

Yup, I ended up watching the Superbowl even though I said I'd be watching Law & Order. Now I'm glad I did because it was an exciting game and a friend explained how the game is played so I understood what the heck was going on. That helps. I knit on my Malabrigo beehive hat.

Get this. I was too nervous the entire time to knit a stitch. And we lost! :(

Unfortunately, I didn't get any knitting done during the super bowl. It was my "relax from the weekend" time. But your sweater looks great!!! And I can't wait or the hat pattern! As you know, I'm a little hat obsessed!

We broke tradition this year and went to Manhattan. We don't really care for any sports, but we do watch the Super Bowl. However, I'd probably have worked on my Jaywalker or duck amigurumi.
Your stuff looks great. :D

Super Bowl is indeed prime knit time - I worked on a Stalker sock by Yarn Ball Boogie in a colorway for Project Spectrum!

Sadly I did not knit during the game. Too many non-knitters and too much food and beer to chance it.
