Marisol

I think the first picture here is pretty cool! Lombard Socks on Lombard St! Hey I got your email and let me know if you ever move out here---It would be great to hang out with someone that is as crazy about knittins as I am:)

Sacha

I dunno, I kind of like the photo of you taking a photo of your socks next to the street name. :) I'd like to visit SF myself someday.

Jean

What a perfect time to finish the pair! They came out great, too. I second Marisol on the coolness of the first picture. The other pictures are wonderful photos of the day you had, but I concur it IS hard to photograph that street all on it's own, never mind including socks. Capturing the "crookedness" when you're on the ground is a challenge for sure. So excellent job all around, I say.

Oiyi

LOL! Yeah, blogging photos must be weird for others to see.

The socks look great. Very cute with the shoes.

jody

i love the pic of you taking the pic. is that the one your dad took? i think it's cool to have the process documented, your jeans all rolled up right in the middle of the street (we're all guilty of this!)...it's like a mini "day in the life of a blogger" ;)

Jessica

I think all the pics are great! Socks too of course! ;)

stacey

what a great picture!!! funny how the whole family gets into the blogging photo shoot!

twig

The socks look great. But did you ever wonder what the person in the silver car thought while you were taking the sock picture? Of course it *is* San Francisco.

Kim

Love the socks! The shoes are purty too. I am addicted to Mary Janes.

Amy

Yay, Lombard street! They look great, although I also love the shot of you and your fam.

Liz K.

I love photos of knitting in the wild, especially if they are so clever like that! Lombard socks on Lombard street! Yay!

Jess

Oh gosh! How funny! I try to take my FO pic's when no one is around to look at me like I'm goofy! I can't imagine doing it on a busy street. Very brave. :)

ann

Those socks look great - both on Lombard Street and with the shoes. Very cute!
Also, love the presence of the fingerless mitts! :)

Ari

Beautiful socks! You've really learned a lot in the 1.5 yrs you've been knitting. I only got to socks last summer.

:)

Kelly

ohh yummy socks! Love your jacket too!

Tanya

Great socks and great backstory on them! Makes them extra special!

Mintyfresh

Dad was right--behind-the-scenes shots are the best :) Great socks--love the photo location!

Christine

Wow! We were in San Francisco at the same time. I almost went to Lombard St. on Dec.30 but decided on checking out some yarn shops instead. Great pix!

tiennie

Very cool! I love Lombard Street - especially when all the hydrangeas were in full bloom.

kelp!

I love that photo of the socks in their element! And you go with your handknits - I spy some fingerless mitts, too.

nova

I particularly like the photo of you taking the photo. Nice.
