It turns out that Philana likes yarn and knitting very much. In addition to helping me tangle my yarn, she also likes to watch me knit.
This has become her favorite spot to sleep. She switches back and forth between shoulders, but she generally leaves me enough room to knit or use my laptop. In fact, she just jumped up on me since I started writing this post.
Philana is also interested in knitting patterns. She has found the Child's First Sock pattern to be especially nice to lean against. Despite Because of her best efforts, we have just turned the heel.
It's been fun to make pairs of my single socks. But a great idea for a pattern and yarn combination might do me in soon....

The most adorable kitten ever!

Hehehe... she's so sweet - and [still] so tiny.

awww - she is so cute (and has great taste in socks!)
I think that yarn/pattern combo will be amazing!

These pictures make me want to get a kitten. Only babies and baby animals can give that sweet love!

Not only cute but helpful! I am trying to figure out what to do with my Poison #5 yarn. I am curious to see what you do with yours!

There's really nothing like a baby mammal to make my heart go all squishy.

So cute - just think how much *more* helpful she'll be doing that when she grows up!

Oh, the cuteness, the cuteness! :-) She looks just like my Lola when she was a teeny little kitten...

What a sweet picture of the two of you!

what a sweet kitty! It never ceases to amaze me how cats just hang out in the middle of things - as mine is laying on my children's drawings next to me on the counter right now!:) Can't wait to see the Posion knit up! Wollmeise rocks, thank you for taking me down into the dark world of wollmeise addiction...:)

How cute! Wait until she gets larger and makes larger knots. That is the perfect yarn/pattern combo I've seen!

Oh, killing me with cuteness!
When our cats were kittens, one of them would climb up on my shoulders and back whenever I was on the computer. And purr. Awww!

Sooooo cute! When I was growing up, we had a cat who would drape himself across the back of my dad's shoulders, almost like a scarf. Maybe Philana will do that when (if?) she outgrows her current position.

What a momma's helper, she is! Too cute!
I'll just leave the other comments here, too, if you don't mind.
I love the Sidewinder Socks! Can't wait to make me a pair!
And I like #3 in the sweater stripe design. Looking forward to seeing it all done! ;-)

I die of the cuteness. I think your yarn and pattern are a good match as well.

Such a good kitty! And excellent taste in sock pattern books. Does she help David with his puzzles?
