and it marches on....

My 4yo is looking over my shoulder and says that your socks are very pretty!

Kim

I've been eyeing the Sherbet colorway on the Blue Moon site for some time and wondering how it would knit up. Now I know and it's looking great (less orangey than I would've guessed). I feel the Sidewinder calling to me as well so I 'm looking forward to seeing how you like it and how yours turns out. 11 single socks for 11 Stitches makes a lot of sense.

jody

looks like you've got to do 11 now! i don't think i've seen your sockpal's yarn knitted up until now. if at all possible, it seems brighter than it did in the ball, which is just perfect for what her prefs were :)

Brenda

Very pretty! I'm curious as to how you like the Sidewinders pattern. I'm sure nona wrote an excellent pattern, but to my non-visually oriented brain, it looks too complex.

Susan P

And the new issue has three, count em three, sock patterns.

Life is good.

Blessings from a fellow liberator.

kelp!

Whooops, I guess you really need to make a couple more single socks. I too am intrigued by the sidewinders pattern, I think I see a pair in my future.

Danielle

Lovely colors. I like when pattern and yarn meet to form the have to project.

Knit happy!

Tanya

Hee! Why am I not surprised!

LOVE the sherbert colorway!

stacey

what a neat construction!!! the sockapalooza sock looks very happy and colorful!

nova

My sockapalooza sock will be my next single sock...but probably quickly followed by it's mate...I am not as prolofic a sock knitter as you...but a girl can dream! I think those sidewinders are going to look great in the Wollmeise.

pamela wynne

YES!! I've got a new single sock for my Secret Pal, but I'm still lagging seriously behind at 3. Loving the Sidewinders in that Wollmeise colorway. xo

Sacha

I'm in love with that first yarn. It makes me want to eat kids cereal.

Jean

Rock on with your single sock knitting self! S'okay with us, cause it's so much fun to watch. I can't wait to see how 10 and 11 turn out! You can easily push the pairs deadline back. Maybe Sept. 21 (first day of autumn) would be a good, new deadline? Or screw the deadlines completely and just finish whenever you finish. Either way, it's *your* knitting. Have fun.

Nora

Yes, the Sidewinder is a definite must for any SS collection. :)

Faith

I am intrigued by your sidewinder sock! How exciting.

Jessica

Those are just so cool! Both the sideways sock and the amazing bright colors of the other!! Just awesome! :)

knittingphilistine

I knew it was only a matter of time...
