Mintyfresh

those are beautiful!

stacey

wow. I have made a couple of quilts and always lean towards the more contemporary/arty ones - those are truly amazing!!!!! Did you do the fingerprint one by appliqué?

Jean

Hulloooo Zeeba Neighba! (That a reference to the cartoon strip "Pearls Before Swine", btw) Those are gorgeous! You are crazy talented, girl. Thanks for sharing.

Sara Payne

When my aunt came to visit this weekend, I showed her several pictures of your quilts and knitting. She was very impressed! And given that she lives in Amish country where quilts abound, that's saying something!

Carol

They're both gorgeous!

Megan

Wow, those are amazing! I was thinking about starting out making quilts, but I know I'll never be able to do anything even close to those--I'll just stick with bed-coverings and knitting, I think! ;D

nova

Both quilts are amazing but the fingerprint quilt blows my mind.

Brenda

Wow! You have an astounding talent, Kristy! Very beautiful and unique. Thanks for showing them to all of us!

Are you planning on designing knitting patterns as cool as your quilts? You would certainly have a following.

I don't think you are going to have any difficulties in your art classes.

Have a great weekend!

tiennie

Your quilts are amazing! I like making more traditional quilts - I'm not the artist that you are.

Sacha

I really like the fingerprint quilt, it certainly breaks from the traditional stuff I've seen.

jody

WOW! i really don't know which adjective to pick -- gorgeous, stunning, beautiful, creative. they're all those things.

i love the fingerprint one in your colors. i soon as i saw that i said "wow, that's kristy"

i'm so impressed -- and i don't say that very often.

Ariel

Joining the chorus of wows. Gorgeous work. It's kind of odd, as a knitter who fully realizes that "traditional" crafting need not be traditional at all, but I'd never really considered the artistic possibilities of quilting. Very, very cool.

pamela wynne

wow!! I am just learning to quilt, and this is wonderful inspiration. :)

David

I really like the way the zebras blend in the middle, but are negatives of each other at the ends.
